Hello, fam. In this installment, let’s talk about dessert.
I’m not the biggest dessert guy in the world, I definitely have more of a savory tooth than sweet tooth. But these healthy, simple desserts have made dessert a regular thing for me.
They’re ice-cream style desserts that are delicious, easy to make, very high in protein and are all three ingredients or less. Most importantly, they’re diet-friendly.
The first one we’ll go through is strawberries and cream. Add one cup of nonfat Greek yogurt and a scoop of strawberry or strawberries and cream protein powder, then stir until combined.

Other yogurts and protein powders likely will have different calories and grams of protein and carbs, but for the stuff I used, this was about 250 calories, 48 grams of protein and 11 grams of carbs.
Next, we’re going the chocolate route. Add a cup of nonfat Greek yogurt and chocolate protein powder to a bowl and stir until combined. I wasn’t entirely satisfied with this one, so I added a serving of sugar-free maple syrup and it was an improvement (I apparently deleted the picture).
This came out to about 265 calories, 48 grams of protein and 16 grams of carbs.
Now, my personal favorite. I got some new cookies and cream protein powder and couldn’t wait to incorporate it into dessert. You know the drill, take a scoop of protein powder and a cup of Greek yogurt and combine them in the bowl. Then I added two tablespoons of PB2 (peanut butter powder). PB2 doesn’t taste quite as good as actual peanut butter, in my opinion, but it’s almost as good and has way less calories with about the same amount of protein and carbs.
Numbers for this final one come out to about 390 calories, 60 grams of protein and 15 grams of carbs.

That’s all I got for ya, thanks for tuning in and let me know if you try any of these. Much love and take care.
