Thanks for clicking. Here’s some more “meaningful” content about chicken strips.
There are a plethora of sports bars in the Fargo-Moorhead area, which is one reason why I enjoy it so much. Drinks, bar food, sports … you can’t go wrong.
I don’t visit Tailgators enough. It’s a fun atmosphere that has produced great food all of the three (?) times I’ve been there.
The chicken strip basket certainly didn’t lower my opinion of the restaurant.
Yeah, the lighting in there sucked. Yeah, it’s a bad photo. No, I will not turn my flash on and look like an idiot.
These were for sure some of the crunchiest chicken strips I’ve had so far. You know I love a good crunch, so I was a fan of the breading. The chicken was good enough quality and was seasoned well.
The fries were probably in the fryer for a minute too long, they were a little too crispy. Some of the softness on the inside was diminished. But I’d rather have fries that are a little too crispy than too soft. The salt was on point and the ranch had a nice enough taste and consistency.
Overall, I give this basket a 7.8. I would be unhappy with this zero times out of 11.
Shoutout to the bro Carson for the idea to eat at Tailgators and for joining me. Much love.
Sidenote: The weather here in the midwest is on the verge of taking a chilly turn. Mental health is a big issue and seasonal depression is real.
Anyone who feels like you’re helpless or alone, it’s OK. Everyone goes through some shit.
Don’t be afraid to talk to someone who cares and let things out. No matter who you are, someone cares.
Sorry to take a left turn and get soft. It’s a Basket Review, I know; but no one deserves to have mental issues. Tailgators. 7.8.
Thank you.
