Applebee’s is awesome. Their diverse menu offers delicious entrees from a classic cheeseburger to shrimp stir fry.
I have never had a bad Applebee’s experience, the food and service were always top-notch when I’ve been there.
The chicken strips at Applebee’s are great too.
To the naked eye, nothing stands out about this chicken strip basket. They look like a classic chicken strip with regular fries, which isn’t wrong.
The strips are nice quality with a good, crunchy breading that’s not too thick or thin.
Applebee’s fries are solid; they are well-seasoned and crispy enough. The basket is tied together by a decent-tasting ranch.
Overall, I give this basket an 8.4. It’s a classic, well-done basket that is a slightly better version of Dairy Queen’s chicken strip basket. I thought it was good all-around and don’t really have any complaints.
I’ve had this chicken strip basket several times in my life and will definitely order it again. 8.4.
PS: I am always open to suggestions. Even though I love chicken strips and want to have a good chicken strip-eating experience, I also want to write a negative review at some point. So if you know of a restaurant with lackluster chicken tenders or really good chicken tenders, slide into my DMs or my email to let me know. Much love.
