After Sonic tried to kill me with their sad excuse for a chicken strip basket I contemplated if I even wanted to do a Basket Review this week. But here I am, producing more A1 content.
For this review I ordered takeout from Dilworth’s Red Hen Tap House. All I know about Dilworth is there’s a Walmart, Pizza Ranch and this place. I like Pizza Ranch and this place seems decent.
When I envision classic chicken strips, these are close to what comes to mind. A crunchy, sufficiently-seasoned breading surrounding fair-quality chicken.
The waffle fries were standard, good waffle fries. They were a little too salty but still pretty good. the ranch was ranch.
Overall, I give this a 7.5. It was just a classic basket that wasn’t anything special, but also didn’t really have any flaws.
After last week’s debacle I actually found myself wanting to write another bad review. Every now and then it’s fun to blow off some steam via trashing someone’s weak effort at deep frying chicken and potatoes. Red Hen Tap House: 7.5.
