Sup. Thanks for being here for my 23rd Basket Review. This time, I ventured to the American icon, McDonald’s.
This place needs no introduction, but I did just watch “The Founder,” a movie starring Michael Keaton about how McDonald’s was started. I won’t spoil anything, but Ray Kroc was a real dick.
Let’s get into the important stuff.
The breading was crunchy and well-seasoned, but the chicken itself was not good-quality. I might have just gotten a bad batch, but some bites were very chewy, which wasn’t ideal.
I don’t need to say anything about the fries, everyone knows McDonald’s fries are quite good. The ranch was ranch. I also got some of the signature sauce, which was tasty, but won’t factor into my score.
Overall, I’ll give the basket a 5.8. I didn’t hate it, but it was confined due to the quality of the chicken.
