A source told me that Burger King now had chicken tenders and then I saw an ad for them on Snapchat, so it was destiny I went there for this review.
Was I happy with my decision? Eh, not really. Was I disappointed in my decision? I mean, kinda, but there are more disappointing things in the world.
The chicken strips had a nice crunch to them, but the meat itself was dry. The quality is about what you’d expect from the BK Lounge.
I personally think BK’s fries are a little under-appreciated. If you get a fresh batch, which I did, they’re pretty decent. The ranch was typical fast food ranch.
Overall, I give this basket a 5.7. Wasn’t awful, but no element was great.
Now before I write this last part, let me just say that BK is a fine food option for when you really don’t want to put anything good in your system. Good hangover and cheat meal food, no doubt.
So when I pulled up to the drive-through, I noticed they had a two-for-$6 deal with the chicken strips. I like to treat myself and have a cheat meal or two on the weekend, so I decided to do the two-for-$6. The sandwich pairing options were chicken sandwich, spicy chicken sandwich and a Whopper. Went with the regular chicken sandwich.
I drive back to my apartment, open the wrapper, and on my bun sits a fish patty. Have you ever had fish from BK? Don’t. It sucked. Nice one, BK. Thank you so much for nothing at all. 5.7. At best.
