Thanks for being here for the first Basket Review of 2019. I’ve been slacking a bit with these lately, but I promise to pick it up and bring you fantastic content more frequently.
I think Culver’s was the second-last fast food place I had to review in Fargo-Moorhead. If my calculations are correct, Arby’s is the only one left. Could be wrong. I’ll figure my life out eventually.
Culver’s chicken strip basket was acceptable (I know, a ringing endorsement). The chicken was average quality, and was reasonably salty and crunchy.
I’ve apparently been on a crinkle-cut fry bender as of late. There’s nothing wrong with that. I felt like I barely had them up until Duane’s and now they’re just a permanent part of my life, I guess. The last three places I’ve been to have all had crinkle fries. These were solidly crispy and seasoned well enough. I enjoyed them.
The ranch was fine. It tasted like ranch you’d get at a fast food chain.
Overall, I’ll give Culver’s chicken strip basket a 6.2. It wasn’t bad, but nothing was really elevated. I’ve only had Culver’s a handful of time’s in my life. I can say that they have some mean burgers and ice cream. So you’d probably be better off opting for that.
