I hope you all had a wonderful Easter, and if you don’t celebrate Easter, I hope you had a wonderful day doing something else.
I would say I’m without a doubt doing the Lord’s work by bringing people good, clean, pure, family friendly blog posts like this, so let’s get into the goods.
For my latest chicken strip meal, I ventured to The Gallery, which is within the Fargo Holiday Inn. I had pretty high expectations, since its website claims that many consider The Gallery to be the best restaurant in Fargo-Moorhead.
Yeah, we’ll see about that.
These strips passed the eye test, and the quality and seasoning were pretty decent, but the crunch I was so anxiously waiting for wasn’t there as I sank my teeth in.
The fries were solid — both the crisp and saltiness were on point. The side of ranch was a pretty typical side of ranch, so it wasn’t bad.
As far as the ambiance of the restaurant goes, it was a modern hotel restaurant. The service was prompt and friendly. I would be open to returning, the menu featured other items that I’d deem worthy of trying.
Overall, I’ll give The Gallery’s chicken strips and fries a 6.9. That’s a fair, nice score.
Would I say this is the best restaurant in Fargo-Moorhead? Absolutely not. It’s a good, decent restaurant that I’d likely return to. But it’s not on my Mount Rushmore or even my top 10. And shoutout to my guy Austin for embarking on this journey.
To get to The Gallery, one has to walk into the front door of the Holiday Inn, walk down the hallway past the front desk and then wander into an unmarked something that is possibly the right place, but isn’t convincing. They could use a sign. Or maybe we’re just morons. I dunno. 6.9.
My penis hurts.
