HELLO and welcome back to Thrills With JMills. I’m sorry for being a slacker and not posting for a while; the motivation just hasn’t been there lately.
But here I am, risen from the online grave. I want to get back to posting weekly and bringing you wonderful people the family-friendly content you deserve.
And I just really miss eating chicken strips all the time.
For this latest review, I explored Fargo’s Sons of Norway, which I hadn’t previously eaten at, despite being right down the street from it. Shame. Thank you to my lovely coworkers and Emma for introducing it to me.
The chicken strips there were just fine. It was a standard strip with a thick, crunchy breading.
By looking at the fries, I didn’t set the bar too high, but they were pretty decent. They outperformed their appearance. They were crispy, yet retained some fluff on the inside. I didn’t get any ranch, which is mostly on me since I didn’t ask for any. So I’ll take the blame for that one. No penalty.
Overall, I’ll give Sons of Norway a 6.5. It was a perfectly fine lunch. It was also pie day there, so I had a wonderful slice of pecan pie.
I would like to return to Sons of Norway. They have sandwiches, burgers and a tasty-looking salad bar, or smorgasbord, if you will. The prices were solid, too. My meal and pie came out to like $10. Not bad at all. 6.5.
