Hello, hello, hello. If you’re keeping track, that’s three hellos for the THIRD blog post this week. I guess I’ve just been in a giving mood. And a blogging mood.
I went back to the freezer aisle on my trip to Aldi and picked up some Kirkwood Parmesan and herb encrusted chicken tenders and a bag of Season’s Choice seasoned fries.
I cooked the tenders for 10 minutes at 390 degrees in the air fryer and popped the fries in for seven minutes. Out of the fryer came a pretty decent chicken strip. I’ve never had a Kirkwood chicken tender, but these came highly recommended by my guy Joe Froemming of the Joe-Down.
Joe, nice job. These were some good chicken strips. The quality of the chicken was good and the meat was actually not dry, as happens so often with frozen tenders. The Parmesan breading had pretty good flavor, but I wish it was a bit crispier. Maybe I should’ve given them another minute in the fryer. But, overall, I was happy to pay like $6 for a bag of these suckers.

The fries were pretty standard. They got nice and crispy and had fairly good flavor. I went back to a standard Hidden Valley Ranch and some Heinz Kranch for my sauces. They’re always a good bet.
Overall, I’ll give this basket a 6.5. They were definitely some of the better frozen tenders I’ve had.
Well, that’s a wrap. Thank you all for reading this week. I had a lot of fun getting several blog posts up and hope to make that the new norm. Gotta make this blog popular somehow, so might as well flood you with more content. Take care and much love. 6.5.
