Hellooo chicken tender enthusiasts. I know it’s been a little longer between Basket Reviews than usual, but not to fear, No. 90 is here (I’m really good at rhyming).
For this review, I checked out a restaurant that was entirely new to me, Vic’s Bar and Grill located in the Moorhead Center Mall.
However, as you’ll see in the video, this chicken was nothing new to me. It’s basic bar chicken. It does the trick, but it doesn’t stand out.
The tenders, which were the width of like two normal tenders, had some standard breading and were very thin. They were more of chicken patties than chicken strips. But the flavor was not bad and they were hot and fresh.
Accompanying the tenders were some standard crinkle-cut french fries that had fair seasoning and texture. The crisp was there and I was fine with the saltiness. The star of the show, though, was the ranch. It had ideal flavor and consistency, which I’m all about. Doing all these different posts, and eating sandwiches and such makes me sometimes forget how much I appreciate a chicken tender dunked in some nice ranch. I’m tearing up just thinking about it.
Anywho, this basket gets a 6.1. It was fine. The ranch shined. Shoutout to my guy Craig for the recommendation of Vic’s.
