Sup, fam, I hope you’re having a good day!
We’ve got something a bit different for today’s post. I’ve gotten this request a couple times, most recently from my father, to compare the Burger King’s Impossible Whopper to its original Whopper. Thanks, dad, for requesting, let’s see how they stack up.
Here’s the video in which I was sitting really close to the camera for some reason, so … sorry about that. I’ll have the video in word form below.
Honestly, I liked that Impossible Whopper better than the original. Maybe I just caught it on the right day, but the Impossible patty had better taste overall. Each sandwich was constructed the same, with lettuce, tomato, onions and mayo. The Impossible Whopper boasted more of that “flame-grilled” flavor that BK advertises, which gave it the edge. The regular Whopper was simply more bland and fell a bit short.
Now don’t get me wrong, give me a good, traditional restaurant or grilled burger over the Impossible Whopper every day of the week, but that Impossible Whopper is not bad. If you’re vegetarian or just want to try something different — it’s a nice option and at least when I had it, has more flavor than the regular Whopper.
That’s all I’ve got for you. Thank you all for watching and thank you again, dad, for the request!
