Greetings, familia. I hope you are well and I hope you, like me, are hungry.
Burger King has hopped on the fast-food restaurant trend of recreating its crispy chicken sandwiches to try competing with places that specialize in said products.
And I am all for it.
A chicken sandwich is one of my favorite things, so the more the better.
Here’s my video review, and I’ll finish the written review below.
These sandwiches look like nothing that should come out of BK’s kitchen, and that’s a compliment. Nothing against BK, it always gets the job done, but these look GREAT. The sandwiches look like they’re in the same lineage as Popeyes and KFC.
But did the taste match up to those infamous counterparts?
Almost (in one case).

The classic sandwich was decent, but a bit dry. The overall flavor of the breading and chicken was respectable. Had it not been dry, this could’ve crept into the 7s, but I’ll score it about a 6.8. A valiant effort, but not quite up there.
The spicy was the better sandwich here. I liked the heat level and the flavor overall. It was a nice product that earned a 7.4. In both sandwiches, I was satisfied with the level of crisp, but wasn’t a huge fan of the pickles, which is rare for me. I love pickles. Overall good stuff, though.

Good for BK. I didn’t expect something looking like this to come out of the Burger King kitchen.
That’s all I got for ya. Thanks for reading, thanks for watching, and take care of yourself.
