I don’t go to The Boulder Tap House enough. It’s a nice bar/restaurant.
Everything I’ve ever eaten there has been awesome. At this point in time, they have the best cheese curds in Fargo-Moorhead. I haven’t had every cheese curd in the area, but I’d be surprised if these are ever topped.
I recently got Boulder’s chicken strips for the first time. It was just a good, classic basket.
When I think of chicken strips, this is what I picture. A standard-quality strip that has good enough breading and seasoning. By no means are these the best strips in town, but they’re a safe bet to satisfy anyone’s chicken cravings.
The fries were quite good and ideally salty, and the ranch was solid.
Overall, I give this basket a 7.3. A nice, classic basket that I’d never complain about. The real kicker here was the price.
This basket cost me $5.63. It was by far the second-best value I’ve had thus far in my journey and almost the best. Hornbacher’s will probably never be topped in that sense. It was $5.49.
Boulder has an awesome selection of appetizers, burgers, tacos, sandwiches, etc., so don’t feel pressured to do like me and eat chicken strips everywhere you go.
Also, shoutout to my guy Jimmy for setting up the Basket Review; arguably the best waiter in F-M. Thanks buddy. 7.3.
