Hi. I appreciate you for being here.
I was grocery shopping at Cash Wise, got to the deli and thought “eh, I might as well pick up some chicken strips for lunch.” So I picked up some chicken strips for lunch.
The taste was very comparable to the strips from Hornbacher’s, which leads me to believe most deli chicken tenders are cut from the same cloth. Or chicken.
These strips weren’t bad, but weren’t great. The flavor was good, but they could have been a little crispier and were rather dry. I’m a sucker for a juicy chicken tender and these weren’t it.
It was more of the same with the fries/potato wedges/jojos. They tasted good, but they were dry and softer than I’d like. I wasn’t offered any ranch, so that was a fat zero. I chose mac and cheese for my second side, which doesn’t count towards anything, but let the record show it was solid.
Overall, I’ll give Cash Wise deli a 5.6. There was certainly some potential there with the flavor, but I couldn’t get over the dryness of the chicken and potatoes.
That’s all I’ve got for today. Thanks for tuning in. I love you. 5.6.
