Trying something different in the form of a cauliflower sandwich

Hello, all. I hope you are well.

I had a special request to get to, and it’s finally here. Huge shoutout to my mother for requesting I do a video on the banh mi veggie sandwich from Brew Bird in Fargo.

The sandwich consists of a marinated, breaded cauliflower steak, pickled veggies, cilantro and sriracha aioli. It’s something a little out in left field compared to what I normally consume, but I’ll for switching it up sometimes.

I’ve explored some different veggie-based foods here before, but I can’t recall having a cauliflower sandwich. I gotta say, it works.

I liked the flavor of the cauliflower steak and the breading seemed to hold up well enough. The pickled veggies were a great addition and did a nice job of breaking up all the bread with some acidity. My lone gripe is I wish more sriracha aioli was present. Sauce is important and I wish there was more here. Regardless, this is a solid sandwich.

That’s all I’ve got. Thanks for reading and watching, and especially thank you, mother, for the request.

(Also shoutout to Brad, I’m sure you could appreciate this sandwich).
